Hi, I'm Kim. Usually on the internet I go by The Avid Reader. I am a wife to my husband Nick and an enthusiastic mom to four pets, our dog Dunkin, and our cats Jasper, Smokey and Simba. My husband keeps my crazy animal lady tendencies in check. If he ever goes away by himself for a few days he will probably return home to find that I've added another pet to our household!
I am a graduate student working on my Masters of Education. I am a voracious reader of books and in my spare time I manage a book review blog called The Avid Reader. I'm also an aspiring novelist.
I love: acquiring as many books as humanly possible, staying up way too late reading and blogging, creating extensive To Do lists, Pinning recipes I may or may not ever actually attempt to make, planning trips to Walt Disney World.
I do not love: sharks, spiders, and getting out of bed before nine.
